kroo is an online platform that addresses the challenges of networking and hiring within the visual media industry. It efficiently connects crews with companies and vice versa, streamlining the process of collaboration.
The brand is designed to resonate with a modern and playful aesthetic, featuring a blurple and green color scheme that evokes creativity and growth. This palette is consistently applied across the logo, UI design, duotone images, and social media posts to appeal to our target audience.
For the logo, I drew inspiration from the semiotics of a circular shape and chose a design that represents a Möbius strip. This symbolizes the continuous loop of networking, hiring, and the essential connection between crew and companies, highlighting that one can't exist without the other. For the typography, I selected a sans-serif typeface with distinct ink traps, modifying the 'k' and 'r' to enhance visual balance and uniqueness.
